It’s Halloween and we have a little treat for you! A gorgeous wedding at Barclay Villa in Angier, NC. The wedding started with a New Orleans tradition of “charm pulling” or “ribbon pull” from a cake. Each charm pulled had a meaning. Here are a few of the meanings: Ring – Next to marry, Bells – Soon to be wed, High Chair – Next to have a baby, Guardian Angel – Someone special is looking after you, Captain’s Wheel – Confidence, Oyster with Pearl – Wealth and prosperity, and many more! The day continued with a beautiful moment between father and daughter. As the bride’s mom put it, dad was putting on his princesses shoes one last time :::::tears::::. Alex then met her prince charming, and fellow officer, at the end of the aisle for a gorgeous ceremony. We got beautiful shots of the couple after the ceremony, a sword salute, and then went on to the reception. At the reception the bride and groom also celebrated the grooms birthday!!!! What a day to celebrate =)! We are thankful to have been able to share in these precious memories. The wedding and the clients will not soon be forgotten. It was a beautiful day!
